I am getting a clicking noise from my starter solenoid. After replacing I still get that click. Where should I start looking. I have a moderately new blue top battery that drains quick. I'm guessing a short somewhere in there. Jus don't know where to begin.

Does not crank even while jumping. I think it may be the starter but idk how to test for that or even where to start

you can remove the starter and take it to the parts store to be tested.or if you have a test light you could test for voltage at the starter while someone else turns the key.
