1981 honda accord LX-Replaced my carb with one that was engine tested (all adjustments made so it's a bolt on and go type thing). Also replace all the vac lines and fuel lines since they were really old and deteriorating. Car was running great- RPM's a little on the high side. Drove it to work and back. Tank was on E (gas light never came on tho)I put gas in and drove around the corner and my car died. In order to keep it running, I had to really rev up the engine. Like driving with someone who didn't know how to drive manual trans! Car won't stay running in gear or out of gear unless you constantly pump the gas pedal. Even then the idle is all over the place. Pumped some of the gas out to check the fuel for water and no water. What do I need to check? Or is there something I possibly could have done wrong when replaceing the aforementioned items?
