1978 Jeep CJ5 Ignition Problem

When I go to start my jeep there is no resistance when turning the key. I replaced the ingnition cylinder and know that my battery, coil, sylenoid, and starter is good. I do not know what else to check or what to do to get it to start when I turn the key. Anything you could give me would be greatly appreciated!
