Car is leaking fluids, and the price given to examine it is $350, and to repair it is $700. Is this fair?

1976 Chrysler Cordoba, A/C, 360 cubic inch, 4 barrel carb. Leaking fluids. Seal? Pump? The price to fix seems hefty.

they can vary all over u.s. first you have to find it to tell where it's leaking. you can wash the engine your self to find where the leak is so you can get a better price quote. if it's a big leak check your oil pressure sender as they can leak . Otherwise hard telling wher it's leaking and how much to fix.
