1974 MG MGB

I have a 74 MGB. All the running lights are working, except the drivers rear. The side running light, tail light, and licence plate light are all on the same circuit. If I unplug them all I get power, but if I plug any of them in the power goes out. Any thoughts on a reason why?

This will normally be a bad earth problem check that the earth on that globe holder is ok, start here,

i had the same problem and ended up soldering awire on the socket and putting it to ground in the trunk.
