shop declared that the intake manifold was leaking, either from the gasket being 40 years old, or that the darn thing had developed a crack or pin hole. really need to know the bolt tightening pattern for the manifolds. I REALLY don't want to crack either of them while reinstalling them.

Okay I had to dig through vintage manuals to get any info. The old manuals are very vague. Here is what I found.

Manifold to cylinder head 120 inch pounds.
Intake to exhaust manifold 240 inch pounds

As far as a sequence, I have to rewrite it because it won't let me copy and paste. Here is what it says:

Install new gasket between intake and exhaust manifold and install 3 screws securing manifolds together. Do not tighten screws at this time. Position manifold assembly on cylinder head using a new gasket. Install washers with cup side against manifold and snug all nuts. Tighten three intake to exhaust screws starting with the inner screw. Start at center of manifold assembly and work outward, tightening manifold nuts.

After that, it says to install the carb, linkage...

I checked what I wrote and it is word for word from an original Chrysler shop manual. Let me know if it helps.
