1973 Chevrolet Van brakes locking up

When apply the brakes hard the left wheel locks up ! pads look good wearing envenly booth sides tires good, only happens with hard braking ! whats my problem???

Left front or left rear? It makes a difference because there's disc brakes on the front and drum on the rear. I could guess it's the front based on your term "pads", but a lot of people mistakenly call drum shoes "pads". I've learned to not assume. Is there any problem during normal braking?
