I have a 73 chevy small block 350, it is a rat rod. Everything was running great. I just changed the oil filter (same model as before) and added oil. I drove about 1 mile and the engine was overheating. The engine died and the pressure blew most of the oil out of the rim of the oil fliter... any idea as to what happened? I think I put a little over 6qts of oil, would this happen if I put too much oil in it? I am at a complete loss. Thanks in advance
