since the first number on tire sizes on high flotation tires is the height, would my tires be shorter If I changed from 33/ 12.50/15 to 33/10.50/15 or would the width just change? because on a normal metric tire the second number is the height but for example a 215/75/15 is shorter than a 315/75/15 even though the height number didn't change.

first is the width, second is the height and third is the diameter of the inside hole

even on high flotation tires? then how-come on metric tires even if they have the same second number but a different first they are different heights?

what about on 42/12.5 tires? they are alot taller than 33/12.5 tires
