I just got a 1961 MG Midget it is in good shape, but the cluth cable is torn. It didnt come with a manual so I want to know everything about it so i can keep it in running shape. It hasnt ran for 5 years.

you can get manuals like Haynes to help you through the major stuff. Also Moss motors.com and Victoria British.com have free catalogs as well as online ones. also there is a a book out there called MGB electrical systems which also covers the Midget. It is authored by Rick Astley. It's very good and simple to read as well as explain things. THe midget is very similar.
