I've got everyone I know of stumped but I have a 69 chevy c10 and my power steering pump went out so I changed it and flushed all the air out of the system change the pressure line return line everything but the gearbox. I've been messing with it about a month and flushing the system and for some reason it keeps foaming up I thought there might be somthing wrong with the new pump so I got another one and did it the same way flushing the air out and the same thing happens the power steering works but it still growls and when you turn the truck off only when you turn the truck off it foams up and shoots a stream of fluid out of the cap I've changed many pumps and never had this problem any help is appreciated and also there is no leaks

That usually happens because it's drawing air in somewhere. It usually happens between the pump and the reservoir, especially if it has a remote reservoir. It could also be getting it into the return line somewhere.

That's what I thought so I changed the pump again and double checked all the lines the first pump I got had a ding around the reservoir looked like it might have been dropped but all the hoses are new and tight the second new pump seems to be all there I was just wandering if it might be somthing wrong inside the pump because I've never had this problem

You have to figure out where it's getting the air from. It's getting it somewhere.
