engine acceleration

Hi,

I have a 1965 Ford Falcon XP, and when i accelarate it seems to "hiccup/burp" , it has the 170 6cyl motor and i have recently had the heads rebuilt...could it be the coil on the way out?

sounds like the carb is either dirty or the accelarator pump is not working. you need a mature tech familiar with these old carbs to help you.
