Drivers side is misting oil

383 stroker 452/451 two valve cover breathers. Drivers side is misting oil onto the valve cover. When I changed to a rubber plug on that side the plug got blown out

Beautiful car. Oil is being misted from the breather onto the outside of the cover? You might have blow-by from one of the rings. Remove the plugs one at a time and use a light oil, such as sewing machine oil. Put about a teaspoon into the cylinder and see what happens. Then move to the next cylinder. One cylinder at a time. Only pull one plug at a time.
