Intake manifold replacement

The manual I'm looking at is calling it a PCV valve foul air tube where does that connect to. The manual says to install it to the rocker arm cover is that the valve cover? I'm so confused with this manual and if it is than what side of the cover is it on middle passenger or drive side?

That is correct and you are correct, the valve cover. I attached a picture of where it goes. Let me know if it helps. Also, attach it first to the valve cover and then the intake. The last picture I attached shows from a top view where it goes. Locate number 6.

Let me know what you find. Also, there is a plastic pipe between the two rubber connectors. You can see it best in picture 1.

Thank you. I'll have to look. I got that first photo but could not find the second. I had to replace my manifold because I broke that port on it and I could not find the other end anywhere. So it would be back passenger side valve cover but the top corner of the cover? I'll take a look tomorrow when it is light out, but also notice my replacement intake manifold has an extra port next to the valve body and in my original did not.

It will be to the rear valve cover. Also, if you have an extra port but everything else is the same, just plug it. I'm not sure why you didn't get the second picture. I will reattach it. Let me know if you get it.

I got the two photos you sent I just could not find the second one in my manual for some odd reason. But any way it's to nasty out for my to look for it and I found out there are two different intake manifolds. one with a sensor hole on top side right next to the throttle body and one with out a hole and I ended up getting the wrong one.

It sounds like you have the same kind of luck as me. If it is a sensor port that is unneeded and everything else is the same, are you able to just plug it?

Okay, the weather finally got nice out and got the right part. but your diagram goes to the wrong port. Number 6 goes to photo number 1. I need to know where photo number 2 goes.

This was where number 6 appears to be at and it went right on top of the intake.

I believe that one goes to the EVAP purge valve solenoid. Take a look at the attached picture and let me know if that helps.

I could be wrong I'll check tomorrow but I think that one goes to the throttle body. I'm going to try to go to a junk yard tomorrow if I have time I saw that my local junkyard had a Monte Carlo SS with a 5.3 should theoretically be set up the same.

Well, found some stuff out at the junk yard long story short I went in found the Monte and it did not have the line frustrated because i paid one dollar to get in. I took the throttle body off and got that while I took it off I noticed that that manifold had the hole filled in from the inside, but the nub was still there. so now I'm wondering if my original even had it. so now I'm going back home and going to give my original throttle body a look over.

I'm so frustrated lmao that Nub for the line does not go all the way through so all this frustration and looking for where it goes was a waist of time. looks like it went to nothing photos of my original intake manifold where I broke that port and the inside showing it is not going to anything.

Sorry almost forgot about this post after all the frustration and bad weather. Yes, I got it back together the replacement intake was used. so after figuring out that I did not break it I switched them back to the original and fired it up. Started and ran with out a problem, also the repair I made to the transmission was successful (the other repair) and the car runs and drives. Sadly I found a small power steering leak at the rack, but I'm just going to wait to fix that and just fill it up once a month until it starts getting worst. I'm over the repairs for now, lol.

I wondered how it turned out, so thanks for getting back to me. I'm glad it's running again. As far as the new leak, it never ends with vehicles. There is always something that needs done.
